SIF – in liquidation

Sheffield Independent Film, SIF, has gone into liquidation after 34 years supporting and providing facilities for film and media projects in Sheffield.
SIF was a well known film studio and over the years played host to the BBC and other national broadcasters as well as supporting local production companies.
Lamenting the passing of SIF is Barry Ryan, Head of Production at Warp Films/Warp X. “Sheffield is unique in the UK as a major city without any broadcaster”. Step-up TV Sheffield!
