CULTURE Secretary Jeremy Hunt says it’s “crazy” that Sheffield doesn’t have its own television station.

He added that the UK media was “chronically over-centralised”.

Mr Hunt, speaking at the Edinburgh International Television Festival, said: “It is crazy that a city like Sheffield, for example, does not have its own television station like it would have in most other developed countries.” [source: Graham Walker, The Star]
