The TV Sheffield Organisation has recently been established to coordinate a campaign to bring a broadcast television channel to Sheffield.

Andrew Moore, Chairman of the organisation, and MD of Visualis, explained: “Sheffield is the UK’s fourth largest city and deserves better representation on broadcast television. Sheffield needs its own voice to speak to the large population of Sheffield and its surrounding towns. Yorkshire Television, having been located in Leeds, has been instrumental in building Leeds’ profile and stimulating its economy. Now Sheffield needs to do the same thing.”
